New York, NY (PRWEB) June 15, 2007 -- WLIW21 New York, one of the PBS stations serving the New York metropolitan area, will air the third season of the award-winning parenting series, “ Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy ” Fridays at 2:30 pm beginning June 15. The season consists of 13, 30-minute episodes with a rich variety of high quality content designed specifically for today’s ‘savvy’ moms. Each episode will repeat Saturdays at 7:00AM. WLIW New York will also serve as the series’ national distributor, making the program available to public television stations nationwide.



Offering opinions and points of view from all walks of life, “Real Moms” helps guide women through the fascinating, but often challenging journey of motherhood. Both entertaining and informative, the series brings news, advice and support for all parents. This season will be introducing several new features – two new hosts who are indeed, “Real Savvy Moms,” as well as candid Round Table discussions about important women-focused topics such as ‘Mom Entrepreneurs,’ ‘Moms & Divorce’ and the delicate balance of ‘Having it All’. The show will continue to bring expert interviews on pre-natal care and children’s health and development but will be complimented by heart-warming stories such as “Moms Living with AIDS” and “Differently-Abled Moms”- the type of content that has garnered ten Telly Awards.

“When we conceptualized the series, we were surprised to find that there was such a large void when it came to finding high quality, engaging pregnancy and parenting content on television,” says Kate Rolston, one of the executive producers. “Our goal is not just to entertain moms, but to celebrate both the joys and trials of motherhood. As a new mom myself, I am thrilled to support other women by providing this much needed resource on public television,” adds Lisa Taylor, Co-Executive Producer.

Now in their third season of ‘Real Moms, Real Stories, Real Savvy,’ Kate and Lisa are proud to partner with the prestigious WLIW who distribute the series to Public Television stations Nationally.
